Let me express my disdain for people like Bernie Dexter who blatantly plagiarize and leech off of the legacy of Bettie Page and make a profit off of it without even citing her as inspiration

At least Dita admits that she was a Bettie Page copycat when she started out, Bernie swears that Bettie didn’t even inspire her hairstyle. HA! I believe she said something like “But, all rockabilly girls have their hair like this.”
I don’t know much about Bettie Page and her pesonal life, but the only issue I have is that it looks like she wore a corset constantly to get her waist to look like that. Given her hips and bust, it just doesn’t look like that happened naturally.
Oh, it was natural. Bettie only ever wore corsets during photo shoots and even then she didn’t do it very often.
